Performance Notes:

The BP-8020ST uses Definitive Technology’s bipolar design, incorporating drivers that fire from both the front and rear to produce a broad, spacious soundstage.

Each tower also incorporates an 8-inch powered subwoofer driven by its own 150-watt amplifier, providing considerably greater low-frequency capability than a conventional passive floorstanding speaker.

The BP-8020ST is equally at home in a dedicated two-channel music system, or as the front left and right speakers in a high-performance home theater system. The integrated powered bass sections provide substantial low-frequency output while still allowing integration with a separate subwoofer when/if desired.
