What's Included

Why These Speakers Are Different

Most tower speakers are passive — they move air and stop there. The BP-8080ST goes further. Each cabinet houses a factory-integrated 455-watt digital amplifier driving a dedicated 12" subwoofer, backed by dual 12.5" passive radiators. The result is full, authoritative bass with a rated low-end extension of 18Hz — without a separate subwoofer in the room.

The midrange and tweeter section uses Definitive's Forward-Focused Bipolar Array: a D'Appolito configuration of two 5.25" BDSS midrange drivers flanking a 1" aluminum dome tweeter on the front, with a rear-firing array at reduced output behind it. The effect is a soundstage that fills the room naturally — not just the sweet spot — while retaining sharp imaging and precise detail.

These are not casual speakers. They were engineered for listeners who want the full experience.

Both towers and center channel have been fully operated and evaluated prior to listing:
